Can you add a battery to solar installed by another company?
Yes, and we do it often. We’ll evaluate whatever equipment you have — regardless of the original installer — and design a retrofit that works with your existing inverter and panel. In some cases we AC-couple the battery; in others we recommend a hybrid inverter for a cleaner setup.
Will my electrical panel need to be upgraded?
